The similarities between Dwarves and Duergar stop entirely at their fighting prowess.

Dwarves receive negative racial modifiers to Dexterity and Intelligence as they're not sneaky and not keen on Magic, yet they're very wise, pious and surprisingly boast an adept mental prowess.

Their fighting skills are most similar to their dark skinned cousins, including their proficiencies with crossbows (projectile weapons) as Dwarves prefer getting up close and personal when fighting or leaning on their faith.
