Shamans may train the following stats without being "taxed" (losing the ability to train one of your stat points)

To find out whether or not attempting to train a stat will tax you, 'inquire' stat name at your guild trainer.  Provided you aren't taxed, you may train one stat every 30 levels until level 300 I believe, for a total of 15 points trained beyond your race's base starting stats.  Any attempt to train a point beyond these number of times will Tax you, costing you points against that total pool of 15 stats.   You can always reset these (and your stat quests), with Tanala's new quest however.
