Submit to the next Teaching/Learning Matters!

The edition theme is "What we've learned Since March, 2020"

Call for Submissions

We seek submissions relevant to the theme of reflecting on what we learned about teaching and learning since March 2020 and what we will take with us as we begin anew academic year.

We welcome short articles of 500-750 words, creative submissions such as poetry or photography, co-authored works with undergraduate students, calls for action, ideas for scholarship of teaching and learning, lessons or exercises, book or film reviews, and personal reflections on teaching sociology during the COVID-19 pandemic, social justice movements, the vaccine rollout, the Chauvin verdict, and more.

Submissions of up to 100 words for our column, Connecting Classroom to Community, are welcome.
