A polish bus produced through 1964-1967, the San H27 is one distinctive looking bus. Though it might not have been the best or most reliable bus in real life service, It'll do just fine as your bus in RPs.
The design of the H27 is quite unlike many buses we are familiar with. An oblong shape, presumably to give it a better drag coefficient, coupled with a large and contrasting grille makes it stand out from the crowd on the city streets. It's definitely a welcome break from the squared off busses we're so used to today.
The interior isn't too bland either, with modeled seats and dual handrails on the ceiling. They do bring the brick count to 446 bricks, however 446 still a decent brick count for a bus.
Opening doors are a nice touch to the bus, making it pretty suited for RPs.
Performance is not the H27's strong suit, as its diesel inline 6 brings with it slow acceleration and a low top speed, giving the bus a lap time of 3 minutes 11 seconds. However, steering is quite fast for a bus, and the H27 handles corners surprisingly well even in tightly packed neighborhoods. The bus also feels decently well balanced and not very top heavy, overall making a bus that will do fine in a city.
The San H27. A rounded bus with an equally well rounded driving experience.
Score:
Low-brick factor: 7 - Pretty high brick at 446, but still quite impressive for a vehicle of this size.
Cool factor: 7 - The design of the bus is cool and unique and will surely turn heads.
Fun factor: 7 - Not very fast but heck, it is one good handling bus.
Practicality: 9 - It's a bus, you can stuff whatever you want in it and still be able to go places. Turn it into a camper even!
Driving: 8 - Handles extrodinarily well for a bus, not fast but you won't be getting stuck in a tight corner anytime soon.
Overall: 7.6
