Issuing a new task book: Contact your Training Officer (see list located on the Training Officer Contact tab). The training officer will verify you meet the minimum requirements, and help you get the task book initiated through your Unit FMO.

Reissuing an expired task book: Keep the expired task book, the experience is still counted and needing provided when completing a task book for Red Card Committee (FQRC) approval. Contact your Training Officer (contact information located on the Training Officer Contact tab).

Completing a task book: Provide a scanned copy of completed task book (all pages), a final performance evaluation (ICS 225), and supporting i.e., task book was reissued, send previous expired if there is experience in it to your local Training Officer (All courses required for task book must be completed prior to going to Fire Qualification Review Committee (FQRC) for approval. See below buttons to reference the FS Fire and Aviation Qualification Guide, PMS 310-1, DOI Positions Qualification Guide, Federal Wildland Supplemental Guide, BLM Standards for Fire Training and Workforce Development and Task Book Completion Checklist). Reminder: All required training for qualifications has to be completed and in IQCS prior PTB submittal to FQRC.
