Bahnhofstrasse is a luxury shopping street in downtown Zurich, full of high-end stores like Chanel, Swarovski, and Prada. Bahnhofstrasse is said to be the third most expensive street in the world. It was completed in 1877 and stretches all the way from Zurich's main station down to Lake Zurich.
Bahnhofstrasse is the place to be to find luxury fashion, watches, and chocolate, or just window shopping! If you aren't interested in the stores, the Bahnhofstrasse is still great to hang around in being perfectly maintained, with cute trams, seasonal decor, and cozy cafés.
To get to Bahnofstrasse, it takes 17 minutes by train. Start by walking for around 9 minutes to the Bahnof Enge station, then take the Bahnof Stettbach train for 4 stops. Once you reach Rennweg, it's a 2-minute walk to the best shopping street in the city!
If you'd rather go by car, it's a quick 7 minutes!
