TMD Coordinator
TMD main purpose is to enforce traffic laws in areas that see a high number of moving violations. These areas include schools, city-bound highways, and other major roads that run through our cities. Traffic management runs 3 divisions, a Highway Team, a City Traffic Unit, and Tow pound unit.
Highway Enforcement Units will enforce traffic on the highways that pass through the city limits, or that are approved by the coordinator and chief. Operations Include
Speed Enforcement / Radar
DUI Enforcement
Bait Car
Vehicle Collision Response
Traffic Control
Assisting With Vehicle Pursuits
Roadside Safety Checks
Any Other Reasonable Operations For HEAT
Once an Agent is accepted into TMB, they may apply to obtain a motorbike unit certification. This will allow them to patrol on motorcycles and perform the normal duties of a TMB agent.
The Traffic Investigations Unit investigates traffic collisions and incidents with the intention of determining what went wrong and how accidents like this can be prevented in the future.
The Traffic Investigators are tasked with investigating the following types of cases:
Fatal motor vehicle accidents,
Accidents involving serious bodily injury,
Vehicular Manslaughter and Assault,
Accident Involving Injury,
Accident Involving Damage >200,
DWI offenses, Racing offenses,
Driving While License Invalid and Fictitious Registration offenses
