Jacob Vasquez

Deputy Chief Jacob Charlie Vasquez joined the Sussex Metropolitan Police Department apon it's opening in november of 2018. He was one of the first hired sergeants within the department and since then, has risen up the ranks, commanding operations such as the Yorky Clay task force and divisions such as the VICE unit. Before he joined the SMPD, he had been employed by the Delaware State Police for roughly 4 months and was the rank of corporal, and an active member of the Special Operations Response Team. Prior to his law enforcement journeys in the USA, he worked as a covert federal agent specializing in counter terrorism with the CIA for 3 years. He was involved in classified operations in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries. He didn't leave until he was medically discharged for a gunshot wound that he suffered in a shootout. As of now, Deputy Chief Vasquez is the Chief of Detectives, and tertiary head of the Sussex Police Department
