In groups, find information about TWO mobile phone applications. One may be a popular one, but the other has to be one that is not so well known, or more unusual.
You must present the apps to the class using a google drive presentation or a genial.ly. Upload the presentation to classroom and include:
General information about the app
"It was created by... // it was created in...
The objective of the app is
The main use is to...
It consists of...
Describe and explain how to use it. What are the different uses.
"in order to use this app, you need to download... then you must..."
What is the history of this app? and of its founder?
how many people use it (downloads)? how much money is it worth?
DEBATE.
Ask and answer questions about the app. "what is your opinion?" "do/would you use this app?"
what is your opinion about it? is it useful? would you use it? why?
what are the advantages and disadvantages of the app?
On one hand ... on the other hand....
Would you recommend it, why?
Conclusion
1.- Create a google presentation, share it with the members of the group (or a genial.ly)
2.- Find information about the app, divide the work between the members of the group. If you find that you do not have enough information you can work on two different apps
3.- Present the app to the classroom. Make sure you divide the sections of the presentation, include pictures but do not use too much text, it is an oral task!
4.- You may choose to do the presentation in the form of an interview, that is asking and answering questions about the app
