Conversational Afternoons
Introducing the Intercultural Committee and BAME Chill Corner’s newest adventure: Conversational Afternoons. Join us, every other week for an afternoon where we break down barriers, build relationships between peers and work together to help promote equality through some seriously awesome conversations. These afternoons, will consist of an engaging space for open dialogue, diverse perspectives and cultural conversations to be explored. Let’s celebrate cultural perspectives, make these afternoons unforgettable and spill some diversi-tea 😉.

Time: 1pm to 3pm
Week 10: Conversational afternoon * Doggy drop-in (Wed. 11am - 4pm; C003)
Themes:
Week 2: Welcoming us as wellness Warriors: Exploring the different wellbeing practices around the world, engaging in yoga, tau chi and various mindfulness techniques.
Week 4: Come Groove: Join us in exploring different music, dances and learning about the positive influence of rhythm within cultures
Week 6: Connecting through Customs: let’s explore different customs from around the world and ways these can be incorporated to help ones wellbeing
Week 8: Time for Trivia: Put your knowledge to the test with an afternoon filled with friendly competition
Week 10: Conversational afternoon * Doggy drop-in (Wed. 11am - 4pm; C003)

Inside out Wellbeing Workshop:
Come along to the Inside Out wellbeing workshop this month focusing on conquering anxiety and cultivating confidence, on the 21st February, entirely for members of the BAME community.
