Hero Points: 5
Darick was a troublemaker in the eyes of his true-blooded elders, but he was still kin and was still too promising to throw away. He disliked the way they wanted him to act, always looking for cheap and exciting thrills, and more than once doing things unfitting of his noble houses name. Darick still did as he was told for the most part, knowing full well how much his position could benefit him.
Rumors had reached his house of a tomb being uncovered down in the southlands, piquing his interest. After bringing it up to the heads of his family, they allowed him to go and find plunder it in their name, and he was happy to oblige. Of course, this just seemed to be an easy way to get rid of him to his elders, but to him it was an adventure waiting for him to conquer. Darick didn't care for any material possessions he could find there, but rather what thrills are waiting for him in those catacombs...

There's an Assassin after Darick
Known as Flych to his family, and Guttercrook to anyone else, Flych was born into a ratfolk family that follows the Black City. After a pick-pocketing attempt gone sour, he was exiled from the black city, going off by himself from city to city, trying to earn enough to prove himself to his clan.
Things weren't going well, but he's overheard a traveler talk about a recently discovered tomb, and he became excited by the thoughts of plundering it. He'd send back treasures to his family, maybe he could even rejoin them in the black city, yes-yes.
DECEASED AFTER: 1 SESSION
DEATH BY HAND STRANGULATION
Quick-trip is an odd trollkin, shunned a bit for how odd he acted among his own kind, he went down a path of star reading and belief to supplement his studies of the world. He believes he is destined to discover something life changing eventually, but is constantly moving forward towards his goals. Impatience is a virtue to him, and he proves it by rushing through his own studies, missing things on more than one occasion, starting to worship a god of the speed domain hoping it'd make him think at a faster speed than everyone else, jumping head-on but never steering off his course of study.
He's eventually made his way from the north down to the south, following certain star patterns and the advice of Azuran, to the tomb of the serpent king. He believes that the stars are directing him right to the tomb, determined he'll find some destiny there, until he gets a sign that says otherwise.
SESSIONS WITHOUT DYING: 5
-He gathers herbs that can make him a potion that increases stamina. Upon drinking it, you can get advantage on the next save you make against exhaustion that day. If there would be no save normally, it allows you to make a save.
-QT finally finds something good: thin slivers of a dried, black fungus that make a drug called dream flake. When place between cheek and gum, it induces hallucinations and euphoria. When smoked, the user enters an extremely vivid waking dream, which can last for hours. Extended use blackens the teeth and make "bad trips" more common. Beware! It can be addictive.
-QT carouses with the wizards, just as Veigar did. He hits it off with a ratfolk wizard named Skrig. She's a money grubber, and always looking to put her talents to use for extra coin. But just for him, she'll waive the cost once if he ever needs a wizard's help on something.
WILL: EVERYTHING GOES TO KALINA AND HIS RAYS
After an unfortunate misunderstanding, Tretch along with his clan got caught scavenging from the wrong place at the wrong time, most of them getting locked up. This wasn't his fault, he knows others in his family that stole his rightfully scavenged goods from him on a regular basis, but him? He was an innocent that got locked up. Thankfully, he was able to escape his imprisonment, leaving the rest of his family behind. But now what was there to do? Wait...This was great, everything that Steelscab could scavenge, it was his and his alone! He went on a frenzy, scavenging across the land, looking for anything extravagant enough to rub in his old family's face.
An uncovered tomb? A Snake tomb? Barely touched, ready to be skimmed clean? The call of the Serpent King had gotten to him, and he made a mad dash to the south-lands, abandoning most of his collection along the way. I wonder if he'll find what he's looking for, or if he's running straight into a noose...

SESSIONS WITHOUT DYING: LIKE 4 NOW
Qiz'Riss wants to take revenge on the raiding party that attacked his hive because they wiped out his hive, leaving him hiveless.
Originally bred to be a sage, he was already somewhat knowledgeable on magic. He's determined to raise his own hive with the use of necromancy to take his revenge, but lacks the knowledge and experience to do so.
More-so out of convenience than desire, Qiz'Riss made his way from the deserts to the jungles of the southlands, interested in unlocking the secrets of the tomb of the serpent kings and use them to meet his own ends.
Obsessed with gaining power to make those who have wronged him bend to his will, he will stop at nothing to attain his power. But understands how weak he is - as he is now, he can't hope to stop even one of the men who murdered his kin. But he will adapt and work to his strengths, and eventually conquer all around him. The dead just so happen to be abundant, and perfect to bend to his will in numerous ways.
