2/3 Legendary Inheritance: Cognition Amplification Toaster v3B (CAT.3B). A highly modified and sophisticated Digital Interface, originally designed by Dynnex to increase the brain's speed to process information. After it's user discovered his own psychic potential, he set out to modify the implant to draw more of this potential at an increase rate.
This Digital Interface has 3 charges, and regains them on a long rest. You can use the charges in the following ways:
-As a bonus action, You can use the Quickened Spell Metamagic on one wizard spell.
-As an action, You begin analyze things at an increased pace for 10 minutes while holding concentration. During these 10 minutes, you can read and study books, glyphs, code, wiki pages, etc. at three times your normal speed.
-As an action that takes 5 minutes, You can swap one of your prepared spells with another in your spellbook. Need to plug into the PDI containing your spells for this.
When you run out of charges, you can overclock the toaster to use one of these features by taking 3d8 Fire damage, increasing by 1d8 for every charge after. (4d8 on second, 5d8 on third, etc) as the implant heats up inside your head.
The CAT.3B has one last feature - the B. It stands for Backup. On a long rest, the CAT.3B stores a copy of the user's ego in a small disk drive installed at the base of the neck. While the original user has experienced ego death, this backup can be uploaded to a proper surrogate body (he calls them a sleeve) or hardware with a compatible interface for this ego.
Advancement 1 Features -
Lens Sheen - When you have suffered damage from overloading CAT, that damage is also applied once to a damage spell if it is cast using the Quickened Metamagic Feature of the CAT. For example, if you cast Quickened Fireball, and suffer 3d8 damage, one target of your choosing whom the Fireball hits takes an additional 3d8 damage.
Social Graveyard - As an Action, you may move your consciousness to a Creature under your control, such as a Skeleton, and perceive the world as they do (For a Skeleton, this may be audio only. For Sans, this may be both sight and audio). This functions identically to the features of Find Familiar, including the range limit.
Telekinesis: As a bonus action, you can try to telekinetically shove one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. When you do so, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + the ability modifier of the score increased by this feat = dc18) or be moved 5 feet toward you or away from you. A creature can willingly fail this save.
Skills. You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice. - Survival
Feat. Telekinetic. You learn to move things with your mind, granting you the following benefits:
Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma by 1, to a maximum of 20. (INT +1)
You learn the mage hand cantrip. You can cast it without verbal or somatic components, and you can make the spectral hand invisible. If you already know this spell, its range increases by 30 feet when you cast it. Its spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
As a bonus action, you can try to telekinetically shove one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. When you do so, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + the ability modifier of the score increased by this feat) or be moved 5 feet toward you or away from you. A creature can willingly fail this save.
Background Feature: Safe Haven. As a faction agent, you have access to a secret network of supporters and operatives who can provide assistance on your adventures. You know a set of secret signs and passwords you can use to identify such operatives, who can provide you with access to a hidden safe house, free room and board, or assistance in finding information. These agents never risk their lives for you or risk revealing their true identities.
Feat. Resilient. Choose one ability score. You gain the following benefits:
Increase the chosen ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20. (CON)
You gain proficiency in saving throws using the chosen ability. (CON)
Arcane Recovery. 0/1 You have learned to regain some of your magical energy by studying your spellbook. Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your wizard level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher.
For example, if you're a 4th-level wizard, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots.
You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level spell slots.
Necromancy Savant. Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a necromancy spell into your spellbook is halved.
Grim Harvest. At 2nd level, you gain the ability to reap life energy from creatures you kill with your spells. Once per turn when you kill one or more creatures with a spell of 1st level or higher, you regain hit points equal to twice the spell's level, or three times its level if the spell belongs to the School of Necromancy. You don't gain this benefit for killing constructs or undead.
Undead Thralls. At 6th level, you add the animate dead spell to your spellbook if it is not there already. When you cast animate dead, you can target one additional corpse or pile of bones, creating another zombie or skeleton, as appropriate.
Whenever you create an undead using a necromancy spell, it has additional benefits:
The creature's hit point maximum is increased by an amount equal to your wizard level.
The creature adds your proficiency bonus to its weapon damage rolls.
Inured to Undeath. Beginning at 10th level, you have resistance to necrotic damage, and your hit point maximum can't be reduced. You have spent so much time dealing with undead and the forces that animate them that you have become inured to some of their worst effects.
Can prepare 18 wizards spells, 2 cleric spells. Wizard prepared spells are THIS COLOR. Cleric prepared spells are THIS COLOR.

Simon was a Dynnex agent for much of his young adult life, initially as a test subject that was proclaimed a success - For what, they never actually told him, but he didn't remember much before that. He was turned to a lab assistant and eventually allowed to pursue his own research. While he has a rather lax personality for most things, he is rather stubborn when it comes to making something work the way he wants, and relentless in his research.
While not too eager about modifying his body cybernetically, he conceded after arguing with himself for a week that making his mind faster would make life easier. So he modified a Digital Interface that he calls the CAT, and shoved the toaster in his head. As a side-effect of his testing with his CAT, he noticed and began to develop his mind in a new way, through psionics, though kept it a secret.
One thought occasionally crossed his mind - who would take over his research if he were to die. So, he created The CAT.1B, which would eventually become the current iteration of CAT.3B. If he were to die, he wanted to make sure a copy of himself could remain to continue his work. This was done with some guidance from those higher up the ladder in Dynnex, which incidentally roped him into a cult experience with archaotech, establishing a thin connected to the Voiceless Black. Simon doesn't know of the existence of gods - In his head, the magic and psionics he's unlocked are through complex algorithms and innate ability rather than subtle guidance from afar.
All great things must come to an end unfortunately, and the Federation eventually caught wind of some field research he planned with a small team of Dynnex personnel, and effectively corralled the research team. They were all captured, of course, but rather than being prisoners, they were offered a chance to be ingested by the federation's teams. Those who declined were killed on the spot. Being an opportunist at heart, he took up the offer - Vocally aggravated about the projects he had to abandon.
When the federation cleared him to join a research team, he stood out like a sore thumb with his ambitions and stubbornness with others on his research team, basically treating them like pawns, while at the same time trying to show off to go up in rank.
And he did go up in rank. A minor showing of psionics, and Liberty was on his ass immediately. They welcomed him like a pound would a stray dog. Compared to the lower-end research departments of the Federation, he relished in this. So many resources at his disposal, yet so little time. He can't follow that tugging feeling in his dreams for a long time though, not getting direction from the Voiceless Black for years now.
The unique challenges presented to him as an operator of Liberty gave him more chances to be creative with his mind, seeing the missions more like complicated puzzles to efficiently complete. He once completed a mission by animating a band of slain enemy soldier and giving them a specific set of commands, leaving to read some literature and drink coffee while they did the work for him. Simon would like more free time to spend on old projects he had abandoned, but he's content being a dog of the military, so long as they don't throw him a serious curve ball.
Wait, what's that noise? *Nerd gets slammed with a curve ball*
More to the point:
-Stubborn in his methods
-Takes no accountability for his actions
^Committed to himself, and his creations; Not to others
^Confident (or delusional) in the strengths he's cultivated, but believes those strengths will overcome anything
+Easy to get along with; lax in most situations
+Actually talented in his field

Portable Digital Interface - 15c - A portable computer with various ports and networking capabilities designed to locally attach to other computers and related hardware. It is equipped with all of the tools necessary for most conventional computing operations, including the facilitation of security. While a Hacker may make the most of this tool, anyone with Hardware Proficiency may use it for mundane tasks like assessing computer systems they can interface to without direct access to a terminal. The PDI also doubles as a personal computer with mundane functionality such as timekeeping.
Steel Threaded Filaments - 50c - Grants +1 AC to any armor. It takes a skilled Blacksmith or equivalent a day to remove or add this to another piece of equipment. Adds +2 weight.

Joint Domain AI - 4 points Non-Stacking - You have a toaster inside your brain. It's always active, but it takes control when you are rendered Unconscious, allowing you to effectively daydream and gain Rest while remaining active, so long as you do not perform any strenuous tasks such as combat, spellcasting, heavy lifting etc. When reduced to 0 health, you are not rendered Unconscious until you die. Incompatible with Unbending Will.

Spells:
Creation
5th-level illusion
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a tiny piece of matter, at least 1 in weight, of the same type of the item you plan to create)
Duration: Until destroyed
You project mental energy to create a nonliving object of vegetable matter within range: soft goods, rope, wood, or something similar. You can also use this spell to create mineral objects such as stone, crystal, or metal. The size of the object created depends upon the material you choose, and the object must be of a form and material that you have seen before. The object cannot be of a complex mechanical construction. E.g, you can make a cupboard or a desk, but you wouldn't download a car.
The object constitutes as Magical Construct. It can be destroyed by Dispel Magic checks that match or exceed your Spell DC, and some entities can interact with you through Projections and Magical Constructs. Creatures who form an Arcana or Perception check on the object that match or exceed your Spell DC can sense faint magical energy within.
The object is permanent until destroyed, either by the object itself losing its form enough to no longer be stable (e.g. smashing a cup), by Dispel Magic or similar forces, or by your death. If the caster dies, objects will disappear over time if the caster is not revived.
Size table -
Vegetable matter, Granules (Ash, Sand), Soft wood (And similar) - Medium (5ft)
Plaster, Hardwood, Plastic (And similar) - Small (Dog-sized)
Metals - Soft (Copper), Soft alloys (brass), Glass - Very Small (Cat-sized)
Metals - Hard, Hard alloys (e.g. Steel), Carbon - Tiny (Rat-sized)
Using any material created by this spell as another spell's material component causes that spell to fail. Materials with active components - such as Coal - can be used as fuel in their relative industries, but tend to be less efficient.
This spell cannot create High Function materials (Greyblossom, Moonsilver, Adamantium, etc). Attempting to do so has no effect, and the spell fails, returning your Spell Slot.
At Higher Levels.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the cube increases by 1 feet for each slot level above 5th.
