for Health & Happiness
It is important to have healthy teeth and gums, and I believe the best way is to do this without toxic chemicals, such as fluoride .
Currently there are three natural, organic toothpaste options in my range; smooth mild peppermint, cinnamon and lemon myrtle. Along with a good clean, both offer immune boosting, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. So when you brush with this toothpaste you are choosing to boost your whole body (and mind) health.
This organic toothpaste is a little different from the type of toothpaste that you squeeze out a tube.
Here is some advice for how to get the most out of your natural, organic toothpaste from Stacey Carol:
If ingredients have separated, before first use, slightly warm the jar naturally in the sun until it can be mixed thoroughly. Using a microwave is definitely NOT recommended to do this. With regular use, twice a day, the toothpaste should stay mixed evenly.
Using the bottom of your toothbrush, or wooden stick , scoop about half a pea-sized amount of toothpaste from the glass jar, place on a dry toothbrush and commence brushing teeth, gums, tongue and inner cheeks. Note: there is no need to add water, because the coconut oil will melt as soon as you start brushing.
Just spit out excess toothpaste once you finish brushing. There are medicinal properties in the peppermint, cinnamon and lemon myrtle, which will keep helping when left in your mouth.
Store out of sunlight and away from intense heat.
Using metal with the bentonite-based toothpaste is not recommended.
