Check out the steps below:
Start with one circle and add petals. Use can make your flowers any style. This is just one way.
This one starts with a circle, adds lines going outward and then two lines that connect to a point.
Add another circle and petals
Choose which flowers will be in the foreground and which in the background. Let them overlap by not completing the lines on top of the other flowers.
Add more circles
These petals are made by going out from the circle slightly rounded and to a point.
Fill in more flowers where it looks empty
Draw a vase by drawing two curved lines starting below/to the side of the bottom flower
Connect them with a line to make the bottom of the base.
Draw a line behind the vase part way up from the bottom of the page. You can add stems to your flowers if there is a space between them and the vase.
Now outline all your lines in black sharpie. You can also use oil pastels or crayon.
You can also use oil pastels or crayon.
Start to fill in your flowers with oil pastels or crayons. Use mostly warm colors.
Notice this flower starts with a light yellow and then orange and to red on the petals.
Use different shades of color and fill all of your flowers.
Push hard with your crayon or pastel (but not so hard that it would break).
Now start to fill in the back with one color. You can create different directions of lines.
Keep going until its all colored in. Don't forget behind the flowers.
Color in the vase.
And color the table
Now we are going to paint black watercolor on the whole paper.
You want a good amount of paint but not so much it covers over your color. Too much water will make it more gray.
Finish painting black watercolor over your whole picture
