Explored real-time system integration by prototyping and iterating on a gear-shifting mini-game, learning to balance tactile input within the constraints of auto-battler pacing.
Developed a technical understanding of engine timing and sequencing through the creation of a loop-based ability casting system, reinforcing the importance of system feedback, timing windows, and player agency in combat flow.
Strengthened cross-disciplinary communication by working with programmers to translate high-level mechanics into implementation-ready designs and iterate quickly on player feedback.
