My Summer Staycation is a cozy idle desktop game where players are given random prompts a different intervals that allow them to shape their cozy room and interact with their rabbitsÂ
This game was made by me and Bianca (LinkedIn) in 1 day for the UCSC Games and Playable Media Spring 2023 Game Jam and was selected for 1st Place!
As lead designer and programmer on this project I:
Created a dynamic random event system giving players random prompts throughout their playthrough
Implemented the functionality of allowing players to customize their play space physically and musically
Integrated UI elements to make scalable dialogue boxes to give players clear but aesthetically pleasing events during their playthrough
