Want to become a contributor to the SMC Database? Great!

If you want to be added to the team, then you need to join the Spore Modding Community discord server, and contact one of the admins. (Galactic council.) There is also a channel dedicated to this site, called #smc-database , which you can access once you're added.

We need you to provide us with an email adress, so you can be added to the Google site team. You can create a throwaway one if you don't want to use a personal account. Then, once you have proven your findings, you are added here and you get to add your findings directly to the site. Even if you only have one image to provide, it's fine. Anything counts. Read the guidelines CAREFULLY, and use our dedicated site templates.

General Guidelines

• We are looking for ACTIVE contributors. Do not ask to be added to the team and then do nothing. We understand that people are busy with life. Things might come up. stuff happens, irl is a bitch. But we expect you to at least add SOMETHING of note. If we notice large amounts of inactivity, you might be removed from the team without warning. Your credits will remain.

• Try your best to follow our submission guidelines and formats. Use the templates provided to you. If there are things you struggle with, or need to ask questions.. just ask one of the admins (Galactic Council) members in the SMC discord. We are happy to help.

• Add as much information as you can. And if you add information or content from other sources, then give them credit. Do not just upload a bunch of random pictures and links and whatnot everywhere. Organisation is key, so we rather not go clean up after you each time.

• Any abuse to the site in any way will not be tolerated. We have a very strict entry for a reason. Be respectful, mindful, and proper. Edit ONLY your own things.

• Feedback is always welcomed. If you have anything you want to let us know about, then please drop a suggestion for us in the #suggestions channel on our discord. (Read the channel description!) Useless or un-constructive feedback will be ignored. Put in the effort, or we wont put in our own. You can find a link to our discord channel in the home page.
