Hello again, and welcome to our Pre-Sixth Day.
Obviously we would have preferred to meet you all in person but we hope that you find the information we have put together for you useful. We will explain the day in more detail during the first live session and also give you details about the enrolment process in August.
The codes for the live sessions, the links to the lecture and lesson videos and the codes for Google Meet are all published here.
Regarding the Google Meets: please copy and paste the URL into your browser. If you were not a student here in Y11 you will have to request to join the meeting.
In the afternoon Meet with your form tutor you will be able to talk to current students and ask any questions that you may have about the Langton.
Have a great summer and the whole of the Sixth Form Team are really looking forward to seeing you on 20th August once you have received your GCSE results. If you are unable to attend enrolment in person please email Mrs Devereux and she will be able to send you all the relevant documents. (jdevereux@thelangton.kent.sch.uk)

Please start joining from 10:15 as there are going to be a lot of participants.
11:00 - History of Ideas lecture
11:30 -Break
12:00-15:00-Watch pre-recorded lesson videos for the subjects you have chosen to study and take a lunch break
15:00 - Live Google Meet session with your form tutor and a Y12 Student Leader
15:30- Live Q and A with Mr Eagle and Mrs Taylor if you still have queries
(Please note that the numbers that can join Google Meet at any one time are limited so please retry if you cannot connect at the first attempt.)

The deadline for emailing the log book and one piece of transition work (as specified by the Subject Leaders) for each of your A level subjects is 20th July (unless shown otherwise on the subject page).
Please email the log book to Mrs Devereux (email address above) and the subject work directly to the Subject Leader (email address at the bottom of each subject page). This will give the teachers time to mark this work for you by September.
If you are unable to complete the work by this deadline please email me with an explanation so that I can forward that to the relevant teachers.
