Dear students,

I am delighted that you will be taking the Mandarin Pre-U qualification in year 12 next year. This is an exciting opportunity for you to take your knowledge of Mandarin further and it will definitely have a positive impact on your school career, university entrance, future life as well as being extremely enriching for you as a real source of intellectual stimulation and satisfaction. The Pre-U qualification will take you further cultural and linguistically, as you will now learn how to communicate effectively on a wide range of topics. You will also develop a love for Chinese literature and culture getting to the “heart” of the matter, understanding cultural changes and developing a real immersion and acquiring excellent communication skills. This course will make you thrive as a linguist and it will broaden your horizons into this fascinating culture.
