God is always in our lives, but unless we are looking for Him, we will never realize He is with us. He asks us to Seek Him, meaning He expects us to go in search of Him. He hides in plain sight and when we open our eyes and seek Him, we find Him near.

44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure that was hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again. He was very happy. So he went and sold everything he had. And he bought that field.
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a trader who was looking for fine pearls. 46 He found one that was very valuable. So he went away and sold everything he had. And he bought that pearl.

How can we seek after God?
The man in the story sold everything that he owned so that he would have enough money to buy the field and get to the hidden treasure. That treasure was worth everything to him! Jesus is teaching us that being with God and being in His Kingdom is worth everything that we have! God is the real treasure!
Let Us Pray
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for all Your wonderful parables and stories that teach me more about our Father in Heaven and His ways and plans for me.
Help me to be more like You, Jesus.
Help me be like the men who sold everything to get the hidden treasure and the fine pearl.
Change my heart and let me know that sacrificing for Your Kingdom is worth it.
Help me share the good news about Christ.
I love You, Jesus.
Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus' name I pray; and all God's children say.... AMEN!
