Jesus invites His followers to imitate Him and live a life of generosity toward others. Living generously requires us to trust in God, and that God has given us all we need. If Jesus gave the ultimate gift of His own life for us, despite our selfishness and failure, then we should respond and love others. The story of Jesus shows the image of the generous God who loves to give abundantly.

We may not have much to give to others, but we can give from the heart. It is not how much we have, but how much we we give from the heart.
