During our 3rd field experience semester, teacher candidates are required to complete a minimum of 90 hours of observation in their host teacher's classroom. We are also required to teach 5 observed lessons over the course of those 90 hours. These 90 hours consist of more than simply watching the host teacher during their instruction. While at WHS I worked with my teacher's plans to create lessons of my own, teach mini lessons on concepts students were struggling with, and assist with small group and individual work time. We are also required to reflect on and write our own lesson plans as well as reflect on our strengths and weaknesses within the teaching profession. Those thoughts are detailed below in my professional dispositions assignments.
