DURAG's story begins in Rocco and Damani's high school days, where the two friends and everyone around them made many home-made memes together. These memes were seemingly harmless jokes at first, but the powerful bond everyone shared allowed them to feel like real personas, causing them to manifest into physical bodies in The Meme Dimension.
The Meme Dimension is as corporeal as the one planet Earth lives in, but every physical creation, being, or other object was either conceived by the minds of others, or made by the memes themselves. This means that any meme or joke you make that starts to be said over and over again for a prolonged period of time manifests itself in The Meme Dimension as a physical representation or being. The funnier and\or better the meme was received by those who laughed at it, the stronger it would be, whereas the inverse (memes not well received) would be weaker in physical strength and intellect (lower-class memes) BUT MANY in number, which still poses a potential threat.
Originally, The Meme Dimension was inaccessible to humans, and our mortal plain was inaccessible to memes, but that all changed when Duragman was conceived in the two friends' sophomore year. At THAT point, Duragman was the most powerful meme there was, and his vast intellect of memes, as well as their workings, were clear to him. He would begin to grow bored of the somewhat empty dimension however, and often dreamt about creating, and tinkering with, a world of his own.
Duragman would begin to conduct research on his own and work his way up the chain, eventually forcing lower-class memes to do his bidding, including continue the research when he's away. Duragman would eventually convince another MORE powerful meme CyphGod to build him a facility with machinery that would automate his experimentation processes. While this only happened after CyphGod's manifestation and domination of his own region, many discoveries would come from this facility. The most interesting invention to these memes was a dimensional portal, which Duragman stored in a heavily guarded structure behind his facility. The portal was at the end of a somewhat thin, winding road, floating above an empty bottomless void (as the rest of The Meme Dimension is). This portal became a gateway to the mortal world that all memes would make use of when directed to. Furthermore, this gateway had a computer tied to it that would configure it with a dimension to travel to, and coordinates in said dimension. Duragman would test this gate for the first time by send some scouter memes to Earth, which ended up a few feet away from where Rocco was hiding out in the beginning of Episode 2.
In Rocco's present (Episode 2), these memes came through, and he followed them up the path, eventually coming across a gate to The Meme Dimension and accidentally stepping through it. To his utter dismay, he was met with WAY more memes than he would EVER be able to fight alone, causing him to desperately search for a way back... the gateway behind Duragman's facility. Rocco would use the gate to return to his hideout in Episode 4. Horrified by what he saw, he remembers of a green durag Damani gave him a long time ago that, because of the memes, now possesses great power. Rushing against the clock, he makes his way back to his house in the city, but he was too late. The city was already infested with memes, and when he manages to clear the memes from within his house, he frantically looks for the durag. Upon finding it he looks out the window, only to see a hoard of memes shooting, banging, clawing, and biting at the walls of his house. Before they break in, he tries to harness the power of the durag, turning him into Rock at the end of Episode 5... now another soldier of the meme brigade.
The story doesn't end there however (and far from it), as Damani was sent into the future before these events (Future Earth). In this future, Earth is already in ruin, and the light blue sky now has hints of red and purple from the eroded ozone layer. Once grassy fields are now dirty scorched plains with formations of rock beveled upward, of which magma shoots out from. Borders of red electrical energy trap all living beings within them to keep the many memes in check, as those passing through are burnt to a crisp. Somewhere in the red dying planet now lives a church erected during Duragman's initial migration. This building once taught about the world's new purple durag wearing leader, and became the secret hideout for Duragman. This is where Rocco instructed Damani to travel to, and defeat Duragman in the future incase he failed, but what happens next is up to the faits...
Pure bosses (NOT including enemies used as bosses) and\or important figures have their own page
Equipment listed is only the BASE set of weaponry and tools, ANY and ALL modifications take priority over this page
The earliest, weakest, and dumbest meme in the army, though persistent and never gives up. It's assumed that he CAN speak, but has NEVER been heard, aside from random noises. This meme has the simplest strategy... walk near the enemy and shoot, reloading and taking steps back when needed. Though somewhat dexterous and able to jump, his arm strength is second to none and as such shoots his Er Rifle (obtained from the insanely huge surplus of the weapon) rather slowly.
This meme does whatever it's told, though often messes it up due to his clumsy, often day-dreamy personality. The meme doesn't have an actual name and only manifested from a noise, and movement, but if asked his name, this is how he'll say and spell it. Naturally other memes make fun of him for not knowing how to spell his own name, but if there's one thing Joadin's good at, it's being ignorant.
Er Rifle
Clearly confused about his life choices, this weird meme acts very suspicious a lot of the time, and while seen often, is feared moderately more than those classed under him. Cuc scrambles to find whatever he can and uses it against his opponents, but therefore doesn't really know how to use his weaponry or what it's true capabilities are.
He isn't very smart, and while he sometimes runs from a fight he clearly can't win if afraid, he would rather just stick it out and let himself be used as the cannon fodder. Even he knows that his whole existence revolves around a set of noises, but he CAN jump unlike some other memes!
Cuc speaks to other memes (usually about weird topics or inappropriate comments), but also tends to taunt his opponents. His original inception in the real world was on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:21:41 AM.
Booty Blaster EX
The high school gym teacher loved by many is manifested in the front-line of the meme army. He can't jump, and many "EEEEEEIGHHH", "URRRR", and other screeching or guttural noises can be heard from this meme, though nothing else. He possesses very weak mind control that works on low-class memes or inhumanly unintellectual individuals. Scal only attempts to use this ability on low class memes since he knows it's limitations.
This mind control will last from the time it's used successfully, until it's used again on the same controlled individual, OR until the individual breaks out from it's grasp on their feeble mind. Scal also has a strong jaw, biting those he sneaks up upon, though most hear him coming from a mile away. Scals move in groups and always group up together, as large numbers of them can be a problem to many since they're fairly tanky.

Someone's talking over there, and this dean WILL find who it is, no matter how many times she has to ask! Some call her Mimi, and while her exact name isn't formally known, it seems plausible. She somehow speaks somewhat intelligently when alerted, though all that remains of her is a head. Other memes often make fun of her, saying "Mimi belly" in reference of her missing her torso, though it's unclear where Mr. Belly is. She also seems to have the Kennen Demon's flight gene, allowing her to fly, always and forever, even without any power. Dean Head can be dangerous in small, winding hallways as she's very fast, almost keeping up with a full sprint to most.
Sneak by her to avoid her wrath, as she only attacks those who make large amounts of noise near her. She's one of the few memes that isn't really part of the army per say, and only agreed to stay out of Duragman's way, refusing to aid his cause. Dean Heads (much like Pats) uses sound waves to damage the hearing of her opponents, causing severe head pain that can be fatal if exposed to for a prolonged period of time... slowly whittling current health away.
Upon death, the Dead Head will burst into a small flame and fall to the ground. The flame itself lasts for half a second and will burn those it comes into contact with for a very short duration. Dean Heads also die incredibly fast, acting more as ants to the colony than soldiers of the army.
Flight
Requires no power
Sound Wave Shock
Can only be used at moderately close range
Combust
Can NOT be executed at will, but only upon death
This metal bucket wearing lunatic just wants to show off his most prized possession, though he's been seen to be quite intelligent. Jack only jumps if roaming (not alerted), but will ALSO jump when searching for an enemy he just lost. He only swings and (mostly) kicks at those who get close to him, which can be a problem in tight corners, or when a hoard of memes distract from his presence, as he hits fairly hard.
The metal bucket covering his head is oddly durable, only breaking when shot a few times but protecting Jack from most other attacks. Should he ever take the bucket off deliberately, it can be worn by others for the same protection (described here), but whether it's broken or taken off (even by other memes), Jack enters a phrensy state. During this enraged state, Jack's strength, speed, damage, reactions, and other stats are doubled, though his health stays the same. He's also missing the armor boost from the bucket in this state, which makes him MUCH easier to kill, and dangerous only when unable to be outran, or without the right amount of ammunition to deal with him. Leaving him be is the best option to conserve ammo and health.
"I gòt a fàckin' BUCKET oun me 'ead!", must be his favorite line, though he's not wrong to boast about it so much. Jack is 5' 8.5" (DON'T FORGET THAT HALF!), and was named by Tyler Lebron (Tyla) in the real world. Many pieces of evidence suggest he once had other names and possibly even looked different, as his origin doesn't quite add up. Jack also calls himself Australian, though he sounds British at times.
Jack is a weird case when it comes to the meme army, as he neither works with, or against Duragman. Moreover, Duragman and the other memes really don't talk to or deal with Jack... ever. It seems as though they don't know he exists, or perhaps fear what he would become should someone mess with the metal bucket he seems to love so much. It could also be his tame nature with the bucket equipped, as he doesn't even attack in that state, but the other memes' behavior towards him hints they know more about him than we do...
Jack's strength supposedly comes from this past, (though not much is known about it), and his attire suggests he was once a construction worker. The other memes spread stories about him falling head-first into this magical bucket on the job, realizing it's magical protective power, and never working a day in his life after that, knowing the bucket will protect him from harm.
It's hinted that this origin story is anything but true however, and that Jack exists in different universes at the same time, going by different names, wearing different clothing, and having a different personality. If asked, Jack would say that he doesn't remember anything about his past, but that he "just appeared" one day. Furthermore, when asked his name by other memes, he originally said "Jack" since it's the only name he could remember, and that it made him feel happy... like it once meant something to him. His last name comes from this same scene, where he said "uh... hm..." and the memes thought he said "Austin".

Vengeful Anger
Upon removal of Jack's Bucket (whether it breaks OR is unequipped by ANYONE), all stats except health and armor (as well as XP) DOUBLE
This ability does NOT require ANY power, but also can NOT be used at will, only activating when the piece of armor is removed or broken, and deactivating if another is equipped

Cyphers are the product of CyphGod's chiefing (smoking). Whenever he smokes, he coughs out these memes who aimlessly fight on his side until they fall. Cyphers attack anything and everything in their path, blindly shooting until it dies. They become a big problem when in groups as they all start shooting in unison (even though they can NOT jump). When grouped together, they deal incredible amounts of damage, though they ALWAYS shoot their weapon slower than it's capable of to help them aim. Despite the visible lack of intellect, this meme IS wise, just lacking common sense or care.
Cyphers are most known for doing the dumbest things and saying the most random sentences ever known to man. They've been seen talking to each other over a walkie-talkie about eating leaves, asking some odd questions, and laughing about the most nonsensical ideas. If you can find a Cypher with one of these walkie-talkies or two or more in a group together, staying out of sight and listening to their banter could entertain anyone for hours.
Cyphers have the ability to chief (smoke) as well, hence their naturally high appearance AND demeanor, but if a group of Cyphers chief together and channel all the outputted smoke into one spot, they can infuse that smoke with durag energy to revive their leader (CyphGod) should he be killed or go missing.
Cock Obliterator 9000
Shoots much slower and deals less damage than normal since they ALWAYS use it's alt fire mode (since they can't control their aim from the recoil and think it's less work to push the trigger rather than pull it (as that's how the weapon's alternate fire mode is activated)).
Chief
Heals the user when executed, but restrains them from doing anything until completed or canceled. If canceled, the user is NOT healed and wasted the stamina they consumed from smoking. This ability can also revive CyphGod if used by multiple Cyphers at once, and the smoke is trapped in a contained before being infused with durag energy.
Naturally High
This permanently active status effect causes those effected to become immune to drug related attacks, items, or abilities such as CyphGod's Intoxicating Field.
This large spherical being consists of Skeen and hence tanks damage. The slow moving monster can fly from a gene it possesses, and it's hair can possibly be used to make certain armors or tools, as it's matted and resembles that of a hard bristled brush. These creatures are fairly loud when alerted, though the exact words are sometimes hard to make out. For some, the screeches from this meme are nightmare inducing since it's silent until alerted, loud upon seeing an enemy, and produces somewhat quiet, calm, sometimes mocking or eerie noises when searching for those that fled (similar to a cat meowing for a mouse it lost). Part of their fear factor is that they're relentless during this search, and often won't give up for hours.
Kennen Demons can spit a ball of red durag energy that explodes on impact but leaves no crater. They can also bite with the amount of force equivalent to a crocodile in the real world when up close, so they tend to only spit from far away. Because they only have one big eye in the center of their head, aiming isn't exactly their forte, but they can see incredibly far, and will use that eyesight to alert nearby Dean Heads with a war cry before attacking.
Kennen Demon Spit
Shoots a small ball of red energy that moves fairly slow and explodes on impact but leaves no crater. The explosion produced by the projectile doesn't destroy or crack semi-hard objects.

The physical embodiment of what every programmer hates, bugs. Just like it feels to most coders\programmers, this meme likes to manipulate and take over. Glitchy sounds can be heard emitting from this meme while it's alive, and an over abundance of them can be annoying to deal with, just like the real thing.
Bugs will shoot the exact same errors as the Error Gun which implode on impact. Since Bugs shoot the projectiles as a learned\acquired ability, it uses power with each shot and can NOT shoot anywhere NEAR as fast as the aforementioned artillery. The only way to disarm Bugs are to somehow syphon all it's power out, or prevent it from using said power, since it TYPICALLY regenerates it's power faster than it loses it while shooting. Bugs will almost always drop meme canisters though, which can power certain weapons.
Bugs will NEVER jump while shooting, but CAN leap several FEET into the air after about a two second anticipation crouch. They MUST stop shooting in order to do this and will ONLY do it to reach a higher spot (whether they're currently alerted\attacking or not). Bugs won't do this when attacking as they know they have to stop shooting, but WILL start to constantly hop this way if disarmed.
Error Generation
The Dean Head's body still roams about, but isn't quite what you think. The Dean Body will ALWAYS remain somewhat stationary, stiff, and silent (apart from footsteps), only moves to turn in the direction of it's opponent. It can't see very far (or at all) so it will only alert when living mortals get close, though it's a mystery that it can see at all. Due to this, many believe the Dean Body feels your presence instead. Dean Bodies are fairly rugged, taking about two or three direct rockets to kill.
When alerted, Dean Bodies will point their decapitated neck at the opponent and a Dean Head will shoot out about the same speed (if not faster) than a rocket. These Dean Heads move so fast that they will instantly die when coming into contact with a semi-solid surface, or body. If for example they are shot into a long hallway though, they eventually come to a descent and act as normal Dean Heads do (see above).
Head shot
Shoots a Dean Head from the user's orifice
These memes are a worst nightmare realized to some, and to others... yesterday. The Angered Teacher is a force to be reckoned with, as he will shoot homing demerits at his aggressors. The homing demerits move fairly slow (about half the speed of a rocket) and turn rather sluggishly, so that they can be sent back or ran into a wall with the right movement.
This ability takes so much power that current power will run out fairly quick, but eventually replenish to be used again. When this happens, or the fight switches to close quarters, the Angered Teacher will clench his fists and frantically swing at those in front of him. Each hit deals impressive amounts of damage and the blows keep coming, so staying clear of him until he uses all his power and\or stamina is a MUCH better idea.

Homing Demerit
This meme is neither male or female, and defies most logic... but it's a meme, and memes don't need to abide by the laws of the world. Moine has two forms, the skinny, somewhat wimpy variant, and upon being wounded to the point of death, the inhumanly strong and muscular build, though only in it's upper body.
Moine always starts off in it's weak form, and in this form, it has a fairly high-pitched raspy voice, tends to hide in the shadows, and only comes out to ambush it's opponents. Moine has knife-like fingers and uses them during the aforementioned surprise attacks, clawing and cutting opponents without heavy armor. It isn't surprisingly fast in this phase but IS faster than a base Scal.
Moine's fighting style in this form is somewhat hit and run, as when coming out of the shadows (or when there's none to hide in), it tends to bob and weave like a boxer would in the ring, but jump back when it's aggressor seems to be attacking in some way. When Moine's current health becomes one or less, muscles in it's upper body start to "inflate" until they resemble that of a body builder on steroids in the real world, and it's head rotates 180°. During this transformation, Moine lets out a cry saying, "His ass... is... MOOIINNNEEEE!!" and it's voice begins to deepen at the same rate it's muscles grow. When the transformation is complete, maximum health is doubled and current health becomes maximum health. The transformation can NOT be stopped once it is started, but the transformation CAN be prevented if the creature is somehow insta-killed or severed (BM'ed).
When in it's "buffed" state, Moine's voice remains deep, and it's fighting style changes from a hit and run-esc one, to a straightforward, barbaric one. This means that bee-lining to it's opponent becomes the main objective, and once there, it throws a punch with enough force to break concrete. Moine's movement speed has now vastly increased as it runs with it's arms since it's legs are so small and weak that it wouldn't even be able to hold up it's own weight.
Deathly Transformation
The user's upper body muscles grow to resemble that of a boxer on steroids, so much so that they now walk and run with their arms. This is also due to the fact that this ability only effects upper body muscles, and the legs of the user stay unchanged. This ability can NOT be used at will, and only activates on or near death (unless BM’ed (brutally murdered) (also known as “gibbed”)), consuming a fairly large amount of power.
Weak\Skinny Form
Strong\Buff Form
Arguably the strongest (and therefore highest classed) meme of NON-boss status. Pat's vocal cords are so powerful that the sound waves produced ALONE can cause tissue damage, though he CAN talk normally if he wishes (which is EXTREMELY rare). Combined with the immense power radiating within him, Pat's noises can be heard from about a mile away, and fairly quickly degrade opponents' current health until they fall from the strain.
Pat is as dangerous as non-boss memes come, fast, somewhat strong, dexterous, "tanky", and has A LOT of stamina. Besides great stats, Pat will also alert ALL nearby memes when he himself is alerted, can see relatively far, and his constant shrill vocals deal consecutive damage as he gets close, causing those targeted to move slightly slower due to the pain.
Pat's sounds can also be generated in such a way that lets him target certain individuals, so he will try to keep a line of sight on his opponent to ensure his fellow memes are unharmed. If they ARE caught in the crossfire though, they CAN experience the same slow degradation of current health. This property to his screams is what powers the Er Rifle's ability to designate targets and leave those NOT targeted unscathed.
