Combat Meter

ShadowFall Combat Meter: ShadowFall Combat Meter is required at all times outside of designated safe zones. Our Combat Meter (found at the landing point) *must* be worn at all times. It does feature IC (in character) and OOC (out of character) modes. Exceptions to the "must be worn" rule would be during our Town Hall weekly meetings or during special events.

The meter helps you within your RP and to engage with others

When you first wear your meter you will have 5 lines
- Version of the meter
- Your display name in Second Life
- [SF] Judge (this is your Role)
- Stamina
- Level

If you touch your meter (it's hard to miss above your head) you will get a pop up menu that allows you to change certain aspects of your meter
- Suicide
- OOC
- Swim On/Off
- Title
- Role
- Gender

Suicide: 

OOC: This will turn your hud off and will show other citizens that you are not available for Roleplay. If you click the meter again while in OOC it will ask you if you want to Return to IC

Swim On/Off: This seems pretty clear right? We have quite some water areas in Shadowfall and sometimes, you find the need to swim. Turn it off if you wish to drown, or turn it on when you want to keep floating. Once you are under water you can hold your breath for about 120 seconds, after that you will drown and your health will drop under critical rates. See Healthmeter for more info there

Title: If you want other citizens to know something about you that differentiates you like a faction title or business you are involved with you can set your title. Type out your desired title in local chat and hit enter. Do this before you change your role. As your title will show twice on the meter. If you want to change the title, repeat the steps. If you want to remove the title, click on title but do not enter anything in local chat. 

Role: This contains two steps and will decide the colour of the letters on your meter you can choose between the following self explanatory roles
- Predator (Red)
- Prey (Green)
- Neutral (Yellow)

Once you chose the Role you play in its time to pick a basic role in the city, you can pick from the following roles:
- Server
- Student
- Fugitive
- Homeless
- Hooker
- Cashier
- Citizen
- Dancer
- Bartender
- Biker
There is also a Special role, this role is granted if you belong to one of the factions, the police or the fire department. Or simply, you are special! Ask an admin to guide you to the persons who can grant these titles.

Safe Zones: Right now the following safe zones are acknowledged

- The landing point

- The welcome area in the Pocket district

- a Private home for the homeowner and their guests

- Town Hall during weekly meetings
- Rented shops
- Special events on the sim that are mixed IC and OOC 

Note:: If you are involved in a gun fight and go into these places to avoid chase it is considered meta gaming and will be dealt with. Please play Fair.
