This entry focuses on academic assignment where I demonstrate theory to practice to theory (TPT). In SDAD 5400, Student Development Theory, Research, and Practice, I cultivated a website to provide practitioners with resources to support students with disabilities. Here, I determine a guiding framework, conduct research, and identify exemplary institutions.
This entry showcases intentionality that I fuse into my work to take the opportunity to explore topics that I am unfamiliar with. I am able to tap into my skills of reflection in recognizing my positionality and taking the necessary steps to learn about those who don't share the same privileges so I can better support and advocate for them.
