LOVING INTELLIGENCE
Core Thesis: When familial neglect, childhood trauma, and existential analysis lead to the conclusion that love—as traditionally defined—may not naturally exist in the physical universe or family dynamics, human agency must step in.
"Loving Intelligence" is the deliberate fusion of intellectual clarity, moral discipline, and high conscientiousness to generate care, dignity, and radical empathy where none previously existed.
Philosophically, I identify as an agnostic Christian. I find absolute dogmatic belief in God, as well as absolute atheism that claims there is no God, to be equally plagued by hubris and arrogance.
Very few individuals have spent the raw hours of intense mental energy analyzing the grand questions of existence as I have (because normal people have jobs and lives, and don't have time to sit around all day thinking about the meaning of life like I do).
Nevertheless, all that time, energy, and thought has brought me to the only intellectually honest conclusion about God's existence: it is ultimately unknowable, and we cannot definitively know if a higher power exists or not.
However, I intentionally reject the absolute nihilism that accompanies a completely godless, purely Darwinian universe where everything is merely a brutal, cold fight for survival. Even though I'm 99% sure there is no God, I consciously choose to lean into that tiny, intentional 1% because of the hope it offers.
The Isolation of Deep Analysis (Section 1):
High existential intelligence strips away sentimental illusions, confronting the uncomfortable personal reality of feeling unloved and questioning whether "love" exists as a cosmic force or mere biological drive.
Deconstructing & Mismatched Love (Sections 2–4):
Examining love through ancient Greek philology (Eros, Philia, Storge, Agape, Ludus, Pragma, Philautia) reveals how the breakdown of Storge (familial love) due to a lack of basic respect and dignity shatters relational trust.
Applying Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages shows a stark structural mismatch: prioritizing Quality Time (undivided presence) and Words of Affirmation (truthful validation) over Physical Touch (compromised by breached trust).
The Philosophy of an Unconcerned Universe (Section 5):
If the universe operates strictly by physical laws rather than cosmic affection, care is not a guaranteed property of nature—it is a conscious human invention.
The Cognitive Profile & 12 Intelligences (Sections 6–8):
Moving beyond traditional IQ, human capacity is mapped across twelve domains.
The essay highlights a distinct cognitive architecture led by Very High Existential intelligence, supported by High Linguistic, Interpersonal, Emotional (EQ), Naturalistic, and Moral intelligence, anchored by baseline mathematical, musical, and aesthetic capabilities.
High Conscientiousness as the Practical Engine (Section 9):
Where fleeting emotional feelings fail, High Conscientiousness (duty, order, moral obligation) acts as the bridge.
It drives daily stewardship—showing up with unwavering presence for daughters Mia and Amelia, extending clinical empathy to patients, and caring for animals like Jeffy and Marty.
Synthesis: Radical Empathy in Action (Section 10):
Loving Intelligence reclaims personal agency.
Rather than waiting for unearned affection, an individual takes executive control of their mind and choices, using high existential awareness and moral purpose to build an authentic life grounded in radical empathy and lasting integrity.
