Welcome to the DHH Building Bridges Family Conference
Join us for an engaging event where families of D/deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deaf-plus children and young adults can connect, learn, and grow together. Explore the services, resources, and support available throughout South Carolina while building meaningful relationships with other families, peers, and members of the Deaf community who share similar experiences. Students and young adults will also have opportunities to connect with others on similar journeys, fostering friendships and a stronger sense of belonging.
Sessions for parents, guardians, students (5K–12th grade), and young adults will cover a variety of topics, including diagnosis, communication options, early intervention, educational strategies, advocacy, transition planning, financial resources, social and emotional well-being, AI and assistive technology, and more. Whether you are new to the journey or looking to expand your network, this event offers valuable information, practical tools, and a welcoming community dedicated to helping every child and young adult thrive.
