Background:  I am committed to walking with you on your unique birth journey, building your confidence in your body and in birth, itself. I am passionate about informed consent and family-centered care, and I value this time of life as an opportunity to step into your power as a parent--you know what is best for you and your baby. Most of all, I hope that you will look back on your experience with wonder, satisfaction and pride. What I love about working with parents is providing hands-on support and evidence-based information to build confidence during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My focus is on building trust in your body and supporting your physiology for the smoothest possible experience--our bodies are beautifully equipped to birth and feed our babies. I am a birth doula and lactation specialist, and I facilitate the Baby Village (free) postpartum group in Petaluma.
