THE 2022 SPRING EDITION
Welcome to the 2022 Spring Newsletter Edition.
In this edition South Asian members in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders share their view on how they started their career, the role of family, and many others. The theme that ties this edition all together is DIVERSITY IN EXPERTISE. Join us and celebrate the diversity among us!
The new year brings a new change to our organization. Hear from our new president, Dr. Ranjini Mohan on what is in store for the coming years and more!
You are in for a knowledge overload! Hear from a well-known expert who has established a name in the South Asian communities and internationally! In this edition of the newsletter, we invited Dr. Shivashankar to talk about his experience as a academic, clinician, and a researcher who has extensively contributed to the world of Speech, Language, and Hearing.
Theme: Diversity in Expertise
We present two articles, in the areas of research and clinical experience. Dr. Chandan Suresh shares his research on a rare case of sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Ms. Eliza Baby shares her experiences setting up a private practice in India as a young graduate.
We are proud to continue highlighting our student members. In this edition, we hear from Ms. Mishaal Rishad on her journey entering the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
