For Red Top Middle School, we are in our first stages of STEM certification. Our 8th grade team completed their first two STEM walks in February 2021 and May 2021. We will complete the 3rd STEM walk in the Fall of 2021, earning STEM recognition for our 8th grade team. As 8th grade completes their 3rd walk, we plan to bring both the 6th and 7th grade into the certification timeline with their 1st walk. Using this process the 6th and 7th grade teams would also be certified during our next school year. In the Spring of 2022, Red Top Middle School should earn Bartow County STEM certification!
Red Top Middle School has formed its first LEGO Robotics team. Our team will participated in the First LEGO League Challenge competition for the first time in March! They took home the first place prize for "Core Values" and we could not be more proud of them! Core Values represents exactly what we are hoping to see in all of the members of the Miner Family!
