1.1 Learners work independently and collaboratively in an inquiry-based learning environment that encourages finding creative solutions to authentic and complex problems.
1.2 Learners are empowered to personalize and self-direct their STEM learning experiences while applying knowledge and skills they have acquired.
1.3 Learners use technology resources to conduct investigative research to make claims, collect evidence, analyze data, demonstrate creative and critical thinking and communicate work collaboratively.
1.4 Learners are regularly exposed to a unique and intentional STEM focused curriculum.
2.1 Learners are engaged in ongoing short and long-term projects/problems that have real world relevance, are multidisciplinary and are aligned to grade level standards.
2.2 Learners are challenged to articulate the relationship among concepts learned in class to demonstrate the STEM literacy necessary for post-secondary and workforce readiness.
2.3 Learners participate in STEM competitions and/or exhibits at the school and beyond or participate in STEM extracurricular clubs or activities.
3.1 STEM educators collaborate as multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and improve integrated STEM learning experiences weekly.
3.2 STEM educators participate in on-going STEM professional learning strategies as evidenced by classroom instructional strategies.
4.1 Multiple business, community and postsecondary partnerships are on-going and are involved by directly connecting to in class instruction, project/problem-based learning and exposing students to STEM careers.
