The conference will be held in the Advanced Research Centre (ARC) at The University of Glasgow.
If you have any questions about the accessibility of the conference, please get in touch at rsc2025@glasgow.ac.uk.
The address is University of Glasgow, G12 8QQ. There are numerous ways to reach the university, with additional information here.
Buchanan Street bus station is the main terminus in Glasgow.
From Buchanan Street bus station, there are many buses to get to the West End of Glasgow, but the First Bus 77 is the most direct.
From central station, the First Bus 4/4A towards Broomhill takes you directly to University Avenue. Make sure not to take Stagecoach Bus 4 as this does not travel to the University!
If you are arriving to the registration desk by First Bus 4/4A, we recommend arriving at the bus stop across from the Boyd Orr Building, which is only a few minutes walk to the Advanced Research Centre (ARC).
Whilst not directly next to the university, Partick station is a short 15 minute walk to the campus.
If you arrive at Central or Queen Street station, you may find it more convenient to take the bus or subway to arrive closer to the university campus.
The subway takes a circular route around the centre of Glasgow.
There are 2 directions - inner (anti-clockwise) and outer (clockwise). If one is closed you can take the other direction and still reach all stops.
The Hillhead and Kelvinhall stops are only a few minutes walk to the university campus.
Please note that the sub-crawl, will involve the use of the subway.
Tickets provided for those who are taking part in the evening activity at Boom Battle Bar.
Parking on campus is restricted to those with a permit and nearby pay and display can be expensive.
If you are arriving by car and have registered for accommodation, free parking is available at the Queen Margaret residences.
If you are not booked to stay at Queen Margaret residences, free on-street parking is available next to the Queen Margaret residences.
The Queen Margaret residences are roughly a 20-25 minute walk to the campus.
Glasgow International Airport is around 7 miles west of the University. You can take the First bus 77 directly from the airport to the West End of Glasgow.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is around 33 miles south-west of the University. You can take the train or use the airport bus service to the city centre.
Edinburgh International Airport is around 42 miles east of the University. You can take the Citylink Air bus service directly to Buchanan Street Bus Station.
