Between the 26th and 29th of August 2025, the 48th RSC will take place at The University of Glasgow.
With around 43,000 students from over 140 countries, the university provides a diverse learning environment. The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451 and is a top 100 institution. As a member of the prestigious Russell Group, the university is highly regarded for both its research and teaching.
The campus is currently undergoing a £1 billion campus development project. The recently opened James McCune Smith (JMS) Building providing students with a state-of-the-art learning and teaching facility. Additionally the Advanced Research Centre (ARC) is a new addition to the campus, providing space for researchers to come together, share ideas and collaborate.
Glasgow is a vibrant city, with lots to do. There are many visitor attractions to enjoy such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Hunterian Museum, Riverside Museum and The Tall Ship. Glasgow is also home to over 90 parks and gardens such as Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Park, Pollok Country Park and Glasgow Green.
