We are delighted to host the 48th Research Students’ Conference in Probability and Statistics at The University of Glasgow between the 26th and 29th August 2025. 

RSC is held annually for post-graduate students in all areas of probability and statistics. This conference is organised by PhD students and is a welcoming environment to share your research. All participants can choose to present should they like to, either as a talk, poster or both. 

A message from the organisers:

“We kindly invite all postgraduate researchers in probability and statistics to participate in the 48th Research Students’ Conference at the University of Glasgow. Excitingly, this is the first time in almost 20 years that the conference has been held in Scotland and we hope that this provides you with both the opportunity to participate in the conference and explore the local area.

All participants are encouraged to present their work, through a talk or poster, and we are committed to giving all participants the opportunity to do so. This student-led conference is an excellent chance to gain experience at presenting your research in a welcoming and friendly environment.
