RSC 2026 will be held at The University of Cambridge! Join the mailing list
Details are provided here for the presentations and for those who are session chairs.
Each room will contain a computer, projector, visualiser and a whiteboard/chalkboard.
Presentations must be in pdf format. These should be emailed to rsc2025@glasgow.ac.uk by 5pm Tuesday 12th August.
Talks should be 13-15 minutes, with 5 minutes given for questions.
The session chair will display signs showing when you have 5 minutes and 1 minute left. If your talk continues, the chair will ask you to stop.
A member of the organising committee will launch your presentation. They will also remain in the room in case of any technical issues during the presentation.
Posters should be A1 in size and portrait. Your poster should include your name, university and contact information, such as your university email address.
We may be able to print your poster for you (at an extra charge). If you are interested in us printing this for you, please include this when you submit your abstract.
Time will be given at registration on the Tuesday, along with the required materials to hang your poster.
During the dedicated poster presentation session, please remain close to your poster to answer questions from other participants.
All posters must be removed by 3pm on the Thursday.
Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the session.
A member of the organising committee will set up the projector with the slides and provide any materials needed.
You should introduce yourself and then introduce each speaker.
If the speaker does not show up, the audience can attend the alternative talk in the adjacent room. The next talk should not start early.
You should display the provided signs to alert the speaker when they have 5 minutes and 1 minute left. If necessary, you should also ask the speaker to stop if their talk overruns.
At the end of each talk, encourage applause and open the floor to questions. If there are no questions, try to ask one yourself. Broad questions to encourage interaction with the audience are encouraged.
Changing between speakers should be prompt. It is crucial to follow the schedule to allow the rest of the speakers their full time slot. Therefore you may need to ask a speaker to stop if they overrun.
