Hello parents and guardians! Here is a fun way to get your kids moving while being stuck in the house. Have your child roll the dice and see what number they land on. After they roll the dice have them do the exercise.
The Freeze Dance by The Kiboomers is a video we do in class. The kids LOVE to do this dance. I know that they will enjoy it at home too. It will give them a chance to get their wiggles out.
This is an outside or an activity!
Materials needed: Student (Make it more fun and do it with your child), sidewalk or hard surface (you can do on paper if you do not have a sidewalk), and sidewalk chalk.
Add some movement and little ones will get in the groove with letter and sound recognition. Write a big letter of your choice (examples below) on the surface of your choice. You and your child will sing the song provided twice while substituting the desired action with the letter and it's sounds.
1. Tt-Tiptoe 2. Hh- Hop 3. Dd- Dance
4. Mm- March 5. Ll- Lung 6. Ff- Fly like a butterfly

Fill some plastic eggs with fresh ideas for making your stay at home fun! On slips on paper, write the titles of seasonal songs, as well as simple directions for your child to follow, such as "hop on one foot" or " count to ten" Put each slip of paper inside a plastic Easter egg ; then put all the eggs in a basket or plastic bag. Before or after my video lessons have your child pick an egg and preform the directions together.
Play red light, yellow light and green light in your home. You can make your own signs or just say the colors.
