Quantity Demanded: Consumers have only a limited amount of money to spend. When something becomes more expensive, consumers cannot buy as much of it. SO when the price of something goes up, the quantity demanded goes down. When the price of something goes down, the quantity demanded goes up.
Quantity Supplied: Suppliers like to sell more of something when consumers are willing to pay a higher price for it. When the price of something is lower, suppliers earn less money making and selling it. SO when the price of something goes up, the quantity supplied goes up. When the price of something goes down, the quantity supplied goes down too.
What happens when the price of a good or service changes?
