Reading – Complete All IXLs. Goal 85 or higher (3 IXL’s total)!

1. Monday/Tuesday: Language Arts IXL: E.2 “Identify Sensory Details”

2. Wednesday/Thursday: Language Arts IXL: I.2 “Vocabulary review: Identify Story Elements”

3. Friday: Language Arts IXL: M.1 “Analyze Short Stories” (This is a TEST Grade!)

Week: April 27- May 1

Reading – Complete All IXLs. Goal 85 or higher (4 IXL’s total)

1. Monday: Language Arts IXL: M.2 “Vocabulary Review: Analyze Short Stories”

2. Tuesday/Wednesday: Language Arts IXL: M.3 “Analyze Poetry”

3. Thursday: Language Arts IXL: N.2 “Vocabulary review: Read and understand informational passages”

4. Friday: Language Arts IXL: F.4 “Interpret the meaning of an allusion from its source”

Week: April 20- April 23

Reading – Point of View: Complete All IXLs. Goal 85 or higher (3 IXL’s total)!

1. Monday: Language Arts IXL: G.1 “Identify the narrative point of view”

2. Wednesday: Language Arts IXL: K.2 “Read graphic organizers”

3. Thursday: Language Arts IXL: G.2 “Compare information from two texts” (IXL G.2 is a TEST grade.)

Week: April 14- April 17

Reading – Text Structure: Complete both IXLs. Goal 85 or higher (2 IXL’s total)!

1. Tuesday/Wednesday: Language Arts IXL: D.4 “Match problems with their solutions”

2. Thursday/Friday: Language Arts IXL: D.5 “Identify text structures”

Reading – 2017 STAAR Packet (Remember to SHOW YOUR STRATEGIES AND HASHTAG THE MAIN IDEA FOR EACH PARAGRAPH!!!)

1. Monday/Tuesday: Read “An All-Star Inspiration” and complete comprehension questions (pages 17-22).

2. Wednesday: Read “from Lewis and Clark and Me: A Dog’s Tale” and complete comprehension questions (pages 23-27)

3. Thursday/Friday: Read “The Making of a Baseball Bat” and complete comprehension questions (pages 28-32).
