3RD GRADE ASSIGNMENTS

After your child finishes all of this week’s work, take a picture of the Math and Reading answers. Then, send it to me through Remind, aking@rochelleisd.net, or 456-1245. I am here to help you all that I can! If you have any questions, please ask. Do not forget I will be on Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 for discussions and questions. I will send a Remind out with the link before the meetings. Make sure you click audio on and video on, so we can all hear and see each other.

Math – Watch the math video to complete STAAR math book pgs. 46-48. This is a continuation lesson of what I had on video last week pg. 44 and pg. 45 that you already did. Then do Math Test IXL M14 Adding and Subtracting Word Problems.

Reading – Complete STAAR reading book pgs. 25-30. (1 story) Woolly Bear Forecasters. You can also get on Reading Istation for extra reading time. Watch video how to install it on your personal computer.

Science – IXL L2 Identify Plant Parts and Functions, L4 Read and Construct the Life Cycle of a Plant, and L5 How do Flowering Plants Make New Plants (L5 will be a test grade). This all goes with the lesson from last week. What are some Plant Life Cycles? pgs. 485-492. (3 total IXL’s) Make grade to 85 and above on each IXL.

Social Studies – IXL H3 Goods and Services and H4 Producers and Consumers (H4 will be a test grade). This went with your Studies Weekly that you did previously. (2 total IXL’s) Make grade to 85 and above on each IXL.

ELA – IXL Test FF (bottom one) called (New) Context Clues Use academic. This is what we have been doing when using the same word meaning. This will be a test grade.
