Kamayani (1936) a hindi epic poem was written by Jayshankar Prasad. It is close to my heart. The story describes complex human emotions and actions. Ancient Indian scriptures mention a great flood when most of the humanity was destroyed. This epic tells the story of remaining humans and their journey from despair to bliss.
