Cheating, including copying from another student or using unauthorized materials.
Plagiarism, whether partial or full, in written or verbal responses.
Impersonation or allowing someone else to take the exam on one’s behalf.
Communication with others during the exam, either in person or electronically.
Tampering with exam submissions.
Faculty and invigilators must report all suspected violations to the School Authorities.
A formal investigation will be conducted following the school and RIT’s academic integrity procedures.
Automatic failure in the course (F grade).
Loss of all additional benefits.
Ineligibility for RIT Application and Co-op Programs.
Permanent record of academic misconduct on the student transcript.
