🚨 Tips🚨 : Your watch must be set for data recording Every seconds (not smart or Ultratrack), otherwise the application will never find the GPS🚨 Tips🚨 :
Flight view (on a single screen) provides:
• Current altitude provided via barometer (which is more accurate than altitude provided by GPS)
• Min and/or Max and/or Average altitude *
• Altitude (elevation) gain/loss
• Current ground speed provided via GPS
• Min and/or Max ground speed *
• Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI) provides rate of accent/descent *
• Total distance flown *
• Distance to fly home or to a waypoint *
• Bearing to fly home or to a waypoint (an arrow indicating the direction irrespective of orientation)
• Current bearing (both cardinal & degrees)
• Current flight time
• GPS signal strength indicator
• Zero altitude *
• Heading
• Estimated Time to End to fly home or to a waypoint
Access to 41700 ICTA airport
Since version 2.7.0 and for watches with high memory you can choice only two very big fields. With back key you alternate to fields 1/2 to 3/4 in rotation mode.
• GPS latitude
• GPS longitude
• Sunrise and time to next sun event
• Sunset and time to next sun event
• Temperature *
• Air pressure
• Battery
• Current time
Both imperial and metric units available!
Call an API with your position (you must have a phone with garmin connect with you)
• Heading
• Wind speed in meter/sec *
• An arrow of the wind direction when API indicates *
• The name of your location *
• Local temperature in the sensor in °C or Farenheit *
• Humidity in the localisation *
• Display MAPS for watches with this functionnality *
Flight log data is uploaded to Garmin Connect at connect.garmin.com
1) Before every flight, please calibrate:
• Compass here: SETTINGS ; SENSORS & ACCESSORIES ; COMPASS ; CALIBRATE ; START
• Barometer here: SETTINGS ; SENSORS & ACCESSORIES ; ELEVATION ; Enter Current Elevation: YES ; Set Current Altitude/Elevation ; YES
2) Please update the "Data Recording" on your Gamin device to "Every Second" here: SETTINGS ; SYSTEM ; DATA RECORDING
Your watch must be set for data recording Every seconds (not smart or Ultratrack), otherwise the application will never find the GPS

GARMIN WARNING: This data field is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. The data field uses barometric altimeter data from the watch/device and it will not function properly in a pressurized environment and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft.
*** IMPORTANT: Although an extremely well executed app, this data field should be used for informational purposes only and should not be replied on as a primary means of flying/navigating any aircraft, including but not limited to, airplanes, helicopters, ultralights, gliders, paragliders, balloons, etc

When you start the application and when you don't have a license. You can see your watch reference
After several seconds and when the application wait the GPS
Before START, you see the settings of the application.
In flyiing and when you select a big ARROW
This is the difference between the current altitude where I am and the landing point (calculated or parameterized)
so the application takes as landing base the altitude at the START of the application and the GPS point of the aerodrome.
I leave the airfield that is 500 meters above sea level with my paramotor and I will land on the airfield
I am at 1250 m altitude,
the altitude ZERO field will show me 1250-500 ==> 750 meters, it is the altitude that remains to me before landing.
The direction arrow will indicate the START GPS point so the airport.
so the application take as landing base the altitude that I indicated and the arrow will indicate the direction to the GPS point.
I leave the airfield which is 500 meters above sea level with my paramotor and I will land on the opposite hill which is 850 m above sea level.
I am at 1250 m altitude,
the ZERO altitude field will show me 1250-850 ==> 400 meters, it is the altitude that remains to me before landing.
the direction arrow will indicate the landing point of the hill, GPS parameter that I indicated and not the START point which is the airport.
