Short Stories

Gift of Insight is a flash fiction about a child who wishes for the ability to read minds. I wrote it as part of a project for a creative writing class at DigiPen.

This piece is a short story I wrote for a fiction class at DigiPen. It follows the surprise reunion of two unlikely people as using some experimental point-of-view shifts. It's a piece I spent a lot of time refining through testing and workshopping.

A Decent Band follows Elana, a would-be adventurer, running into a shocking discovery with her party-mates. It's a Flash Fiction story limited to exactly 1000 words, and written as part of an assignment for a fiction class at DigiPen.

A Professor's Inquires is a series of written accounts from the perspective of an esoteric and unnamed Professor.
They follow his explorations and observations about the natural world and magical phenomena until the final inquiry (work-in-progress), where The Professor explores the Afterlife and goes on a journey of denial, grief, and acceptance.

Fireside Tales is a Writing Project I wrote in the Spring of 2019. It contains stories, poetry, second-hand accounts, and lore from a contiguous fantasy setting.
