Here I have compiled some of my favorite projects, as well as a few miscellaneous collections.
As part of an independent study at DigiPen, I created several short narrative projects to practice narrative design skills. This was the second project: a dialogue between two characters which conveys Affect, Behavior, and Cognition.
This project from the same independent study features the same characters from the dialogue project. This was a study of branching path narratives using CSV format.
This is the first project I did as part of the independent study: a worldbuilding document detailing three distinct humanoid species. I was tasked with using what I had learned about human biology to create my own compelling species which could represent varied human identities through allegory.
For this project, my assignment was to create the turning points in three different stories based on fantasy types discussed in class. The fantasy types included Power Fantasy, Movement Fantasy, Wealth Fantasy, Fame Fantasy, and Knowledge Fantasy, among others. I was to create these turning points to show how the narrative trajectory of each story could fall in a way which threatened the specific fantasy elicited by the story.
This is the last project I did for the independent study. It is a deep-dive on the character of a villain. For this project, I used my Knuckledusters' setting (see TTRPG projects below), and created a villain fit for that story.
Here are compiled two papers I wrote concerning media I consumed. The first is on "Exterminate All the Brutes" by Raoul Peck and the second is on "The Girl With All the Gifts" by M.R. Carey.
I was briefly contracted by a representative of the University of Michigan to contribute to an animation project. I would be the scriptwriter for 60 minutes of animation for a website of mental-health resources for senior citizens. The project fell through, but I still have the first script they had me write.
I've written many short stories for classes and as personal projects. This page has links to a few of the most notable.
I've written several scripts for projects across my education. This page displays some of my favorites.
