Warrants/raids

5.1 All warrants must be approved by a judge within the Department of Justice (DOJ).

• 5.2 Warrants must include:

  • Suspect Information

  • Probable Cause

  • Scope of Warrant

  • Issuing Authority

  • Execution Limit

• 5.3 Warrants must be executed by law enforcement officers within the designated timeframe.

• 5.4 If there are disputes over a warrant, an appeal can be submitted to the DOJ for review.

Government Employees Must Follow Laws

• If you’re a government employee (e.g., SASP,, DOJ & SAFR), you must obey road laws and job policies unless you're responding to a high-priority situation such as responding code 2 or 3.

Impersonating a Cop

• Wearing any SASP or Emergency Services uniform will result in an immediate discipline.
