The /medic command may only be utilized when you are not involved in an active scenario. This includes situations where law enforcement (PD), rival gangs, or other civilians are currently on scene. Violating this rule will be considered FailRP and may lead to disciplinary actions.
Definition
A “dead scene” is one in which no further shots have been fired and all suspects are neutralized, in custody, or otherwise accounted for.
Procedure:
Secure the scene. Confirm that no threats remain.
Observe for 3 minutes. From the moment of the last shot, maintain visual coverage for a full three (3) minutes to rule out any secondary threats.
Request EMS. Once the 3-minute period has passed without incident, call in EMS.
Rationale
This waiting period ensures officers or civs aren’t drawing medics into a still-hostile environment and confirms that no hidden threats remain.
