Club suspended in 1961 from PHFL for playing Collingwood player Duncan Wright
Danny Davenport coached the Reserves side from 1986-1991, and during that period the Reserves made the Finals every year
1958 was the Research Football Club's first season ( PHFL ), with the first game played on 20th April 1958 against Whittlesea.
1991 was the Research Football Club's final year ( DVFL ), with the club's last senior match played on 17th August 1991 against Northcote Park; Result – Northcote Park 12.10. ( 72 ) Def Research 5.4. ( 34 )
The Club's last Reserves match was played on 14th September 1991 ( Grand Final ) against West Preston;
