Nedry awoke, aching and stiff, on the floor of a concrete utility shed. He’d barely gotten any sleep - the Compies had chased him through the jungle to the shed. All night they were outside banging against the glass, hopping in frustration. But it was secure.
He got to his feet, and looked through the dirty windowpanes. He saw streaks of red in a pale-blue sky. No movement. He opened the door to the utility shed, and went outside.
