She pulled Malcolm from the river and onto the bank. He bent double, coughing up water. “Remind me to thank John for a lovely vacation” he managed to make out feebly.
Ellie began to make her way along the river. “We need to get moving. If we head west along the river we’ll be able to reach the Visitor Centre.” The bank of the river was narrow - a cliff face prevented the duo from moving further inland.
Malcolm caught up with Ellie. “Any sign of the fearless great white hunter?”
Ellie furrowed her brow. “Muldoon saved our lives back when we were ambushed. And no. No signs yet.”
“We’re in the fifth stage of the model now. Flaws in the system have become severe.”
“We’ll find him Ian, and we’ll get everything under control again.”
