Based on current regulations, our district will open Tuesday, Sept 8 in the hybrid model.
In the case that it becomes necessary to learn from home at any point during the year, we will move to a fully virtual model. All students will be expected to follow their schedule (PK-5 as directed by their teacher) each day. Attendance is mandatory as it would be if school was in session and students who do not attend or do not complete the work at the appropriate level will not earn credit for the course/class/grade level. Please note that teachers will be prepared to move to virtual learning every day as it is very possible that we move back and forth between the virtual and hybrid plan, sometimes with very little notice.
PK-4 Students:
All PK-4 students will receive instruction via the online platform SeeSaw and Zoom in all models.
This will be practiced and continued even when we are in-person so we are prepared if we need go virtual.
Students will be expected to attend classes daily and complete the work assigned.
5-12 Students:
All 5-12 students will receive instruction via the online platform Google Classroom and Google Meets.
Students will be expected to attend classes daily and complete the work assigned.
Attendance and Accountability:
Students will be required to be in attendance for each of their classes every day.
Failure to attend classes and failure to complete required work will result in retention/course failure.
Internet Access:
Families without internet access or with limited access will need to contact the district to work out an appropriate plan to attend class and complete work.
Possible options include: loading google classroom work at school when in person and submitting when returning to school, attending school daily, coming to school from 8-10 am to work virtually from an available large group room, utilizing district wireless from outside the building (i.e. in the parking lot)
